The City of Montgomery's Capital City Champions program helps the people who serve our city buy a home here.

Who may qualify

  • Police officers and county and state law enforcement
  • Firefighters, 911 operators, and EMA personnel
  • K-12 teachers
  • Active city, county, and state employees

Program basics

  • Home must be inside Montgomery city limits
  • Complete an approved housing counseling course
  • Submit the City's application with a lender pre-approval
